IMH Recruitment are currently looking to recruit 3 Customer Advisors in Wakefield to start ASAP in the local council

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Be the first point of contact for people who are homeless, potentially homeless or in housing need

* Deliver customer service face to face, over the phone and in writing

* Carry out assessments to identify housing and support needs

* Providing advice and assistance to customers

* Set up cases on the council management system and keep systems updated and accurate

* Organise, attend and take minutes at meetings

* Recognise and highlight any concerns in respect to safeguarding, fraud and risk

* General housekeeping of reception and meeting rooms

Requirements:

* IT qualification or equivalent experience

* Customer service qualification

* Understanding of Homelessness legislation

* Good knowledge of the housing options within the district

* Knowledge of safeguarding adults and children
