Your key responsibilities will be: 

To undertake the investigation, identification, design and monitoring of measures to introduce engineering proposals in accordance with the aims and objectives of the Council's Improvement Plan and the West Yorkshire Local Transport Plan.

Agreement and monitoring of S278 schemes. The planning, design, repair, maintenance, management and new construction of highways and footways in a flexible manner within the Traffic , Engineering and Design team. Responsible for .the delivery of major  projects and schemes and supporting more junior team members. Providing advice to Councillors, committees, public inquiries, other services, private developers and the public on highway design, construction and traffic management.
