Leader Education are currently recruiting for a Secondary Teacher to work at an specialist SEMH school based in Wakefield.
The school supports students across Key Stages 3 & 4 with social, emotional, and mental health needs that for various reasons are no longer in mainstream school.
The school are looking for an enthusiastic and committed teacher with experience of working with children with SEMH needs.
Job:
·Plan, prepare and deliver a range of lessons
·Teach in a therapeutic and holistic environment
·Ensure that learning is accessible and inclusive for all learners
·Provide fun and engaging lessons, accessing hard to reach learners
·Direct learning support assistants assigned to the classroom and work supportively/collaboratively as part of a team.
