A brand new role has arisen for a Senior Financial Accountant to join a fast-growing company based in the Wakefield area.  This is a centralised role, ideal for a newly qualified ACA / ACCA as a first route into industry or a candidate with strong financial accounting and compliance experience already gained from roles in fast-paced industry environments.

As a Senior Financial Accountant your key accountabilities are as follows:

Financial Accounts: Responsible for producing annual company statutory statements for all businesses across the group.
Group Accounts: This role will partner with the group finance team to deliver the group annual report and statements.
Technical Accounting: Work closely with the Group Finance Director / Controller to address technical accounting queries and agree accounting treatment as required.
