Due to an increase in business, my client is looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative / FLT Driver for an ongoing contract at their site in Castleford, West Yorkshire.
THE ROLE:
General warehouse working including :
* Receiving material and goods from suppliers
* Cross checking physical goods to delivery notes
* Picking and packing parts for despatch
* Liaise with Purchasing and/or Quality with regard to any discrepancies.
* Correct booking in and out of goods onto the company computer
* Physically locating materials and ensuring they are labelled and physically located correctly and the computer system is updated accordingly.
* Issue of components / goods for miscellaneous requisitions
* Ensure the control and distribution of all documentation such as delivery notes, requisitions and all other associated documentation.
* Using Reach and Counterbalance FLT to unload deliveries when required
* Maintain the working areas to ensure they are clean ...
